Category:Named mobs

This category entails articles describing certain monsters that do not carry a common name, but rather have a unique name or title. They are different from NPCs because they are non-interactive, and exist solely for the purpose of being killed. They typically come in one of two categories — rare mobs, which are killed for their better-than average loot, or quest mobs, which are killed to obtain certain quest-related items.

Named mobs often possess unique attributes and coloration which makes them much sought-after as Hunter pets, provided that they are of the appropriate beast type.

Bosses can be considered named mobs, but should be put into their own category, Category:Bosses. Interactive NPCs should go into Category:NPCs rather than this category.
